There are lots of minerals beneath the earth but cannot be seen or obtained just by the mere knowing of its availability. Until pressure is mounted on it via a machine, those precious minerals cannot be obtained. Same with grace. Until pressure is mounted on the available grace, the saint can't live a glorious life. The bible says in Eph 4:7-8 "But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ."
" Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." This tells us that when Christ ascended to heaven, He left behind the grace which he operated with and expect us to pick that grace up and manifest His glory.
Grace is a gift from God through Christ Jesus but until you trade your gift you can't make the best of it .Thus to say; if you are gifted and you don't bring it out, you will die with such gift. Daniel was faced with a tough situation and he asked of the king to give him time for the solution and he went indoors to put the grace under pressure. Behold he gave the right solution to the problem. At the initial stage he couldn't figure the way out but as he went and sat on his mind based on God, pressure was mounted on the grace and a solution was obtained.
I perceive apostle Paul was very much aware of this truth and despite all he went through he said in 1Cor 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but I labored ( put the grace under pressure) more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
To conclude , it is said that "it is the grace that makes great". We were saved by the grace but until you pressure the grace you can't be great. The Bible records that Daniel was ten times better (greater) than his peers. I will also like to say where ever grace is at work, the enemy is disgraced. Pressure the grace available and live in pleasure .
May God give us more understanding .
